Ivan Wells Captures his 1st PSL win at the Shilen Challenge!

Ivan Wells of Kentucky took home the PSL Minute Man Trophy & The Cash Prize at the 2019 SHILEN CHALLENGE.  The Labor Day weekend events kicked off  Friday August 30,  at the Bench Rest Rifle Club of St. Louis with the ELEY Benchrest Series PSL Shilen Challenge.   Ivan won Chickenfoot Target 2 with a high card of 2400 and ended the match with a combined score of 11500 and 73 X’s to win the match. 

Finishing 2nd was Tim Longcore of Michigan with a combined score of 11325.  Maurice Hassard of Ireland finished in 3rd just 25 points behind Longcore.  Jason Frymier of West Virginia won Precision Quest Products Target 4 with a 2450 and RimfireAccuracy.com Target 5 with a 2400.  Jason wrapped up in 4th overall with a combined score of 11250 47X.  Bob Cleveland of Oklahoma finished in the 5th spot with a combined total of 11225. 

Jerry Stiller of Holeshot Arms won C-Yankees Target 1 with a record 2500 17X.  Triple Crown Target 3 winner with a 2400 target was Jamie Hoskins.  The Top 10 finishers of the PSL Shilen Challenge qualified to compete in The ELEY Benchrest Series Main Event which took place at 5pm on August 30.  The following competitors secured their chance to vie for their part of the $10,000 Main Event payout:  Ivan Wells, Tim Longcore, Maurice Hassard, Jason Frymier, Bob Cleveland, Jerry Stiller, Margie Barron, John Manhart, Matt Dardas, Todd Wooten.
