Tony Medinger wins Stiller’s Precision Firearms Benchrest Brawl!

Fifty three shooters came to the beautiful Kettlefoot Rod and Gun Club in Bristol, VA, to compete in the 2013 Stiller’s Precision Firearms Benchrest Brawl. Competition was tough with only 100 points separating first through fifth places.. Tony Medinger took the champions seat with a combined 5-target score of 11150. In second, and only 25 points behind, was Tony Harper. Third place, with a combined 11100 total score was Mike Sherrill. Next was Dave Cook in fourth with a combined score of 11075. And, Tim Miller’s 11050 combined score earned him fifth place. Five targets were shot, with Jason Thornhill’s 2400 on target 5 being the highest of the day. Target 1 was won by Tony Harper with 2350 15X. Tony Medinger’s 235015X won the second target. While, John Carper’s 2350 12X secured his win of target 3. And target 4 was won by Joe Besche with a score of 230012X. When the Xs were tallied, Tony Harper was crowned X-Man with a total of 64 Xs.
